During the third quarter of 2021, the top five social apps on the Android platform in Croatia demonstrated varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the trends for each app.
TikTok saw significant growth in weekly revenue, starting at around $680 in late June and peaking at approximately $3.3K in mid-August. By the end of September, the app's weekly revenue settled at around $2K. Downloads for TikTok showed a steady increase initially, reaching about 5.5K in mid-August, before dropping to approximately 3.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 370K to 390K.
Instagram experienced modest revenue growth, beginning at $1 and peaking at $53 in early August. The weekly downloads ranged from 3.1K to 4.3K, with a notable peak in mid-August. The active user base remained steady, hovering around 470K to 480K throughout the quarter.
Facebook maintained consistent weekly revenue, generally around $800, with slight fluctuations peaking at $916 in mid-July and $849 at the end of September. Downloads varied from 1.6K to 2.5K, with a notable peak in mid-August. The app's active users consistently stayed above 1.4M, showing minor variations.
OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative showed a decline in revenue from about $1.4K in late June to around $721 by the end of September. Downloads also decreased from 1.2K to 600 during the same period. Active users peaked at around 10K in early August but saw a downward trend to approximately 7.8K by the end of the quarter.
Reddit had relatively stable weekly revenue, ranging from $26 to $70, with a peak of $63 at the end of September. Downloads peaked at about 1.5K in mid-August before dropping to 918 by the end of the quarter. Active users increased steadily, reaching approximately 74.5K by the end of September.
