In Q3 2021, the top 5 iOS navigation apps in Norway showed varied performance across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at each app's performance:
Gule Sider På Sjøen from Skippo AB had notable fluctuations in its weekly revenue. The app started strong with revenue peaking at approximately $26.6K in mid-July but saw a gradual decline towards the end of the quarter, ending at around $2.5K. Weekly downloads followed a declining trend as well, starting at 1.2K downloads in late June and dropping to just over 200 downloads by the end of September.
WeHunt by WeHunt Nordic AB experienced significant growth in revenue, especially in September. The app's revenue skyrocketed from $623 in early August to a peak of about $32.4K in the week of September 20. Weekly downloads also increased, from 94 downloads at the start of the quarter to over 600 downloads by the end of September.
Navionics® Boating from Garmin Italy Technologies S.R.L. saw a decrease in both revenue and active users over the quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $9.3K in mid-July before declining to around $1.4K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 340 in late June and dropping to 209 by the end of the quarter.
C-MAP: Boating by Navico Norway AS had a consistent performance in active users, maintaining around 300-400 users throughout the quarter. However, its weekly revenue showed a declining trend, starting at $6K in late July and dropping to $762 by the end of September. Weekly downloads remained relatively low and stable, fluctuating between 20 and 202 downloads.
Tracker - for dogs and outdoor from Natlink Oy showed a significant increase in revenue, especially in September, with a peak of approximately $14.5K in the week of September 20. The app also saw a steady increase in downloads, starting with just 18 downloads in late June and reaching 411 by the end of September.
