In the third quarter of 2021, the iOS travel app market in Latvia showcased interesting trends. Here's a breakdown of the performance of the top five travel apps based on data from Sensor Tower.
Bolt: Request a Ride, developed by BOLT TECHNOLOGY OU from Estonia, saw a varied pattern in weekly downloads. Starting at 1.3K at the end of June, downloads peaked at 1.9K in early August before gradually declining to 800 by the end of September.
Booking.com: Hotels & Travel, published by Booking.com, experienced a steady decrease in weekly downloads over the quarter. Beginning at 655 downloads at the end of June, the numbers dropped to 311 by the end of September.
Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery, by Mikromobilnost doo, maintained relatively stable weekly downloads. Starting at 445 at the end of June, the app saw minor fluctuations, ending the quarter with 382 downloads.
CityBee shared mobility, from Prime Leasing, Inc., showed consistent weekly downloads with minor ups and downs. The app started with 358 downloads at the end of June, reaching a peak of 457 in mid-July, and then stabilizing around 300 by the end of September.
RIDE: Mobility Solutions, published by RIDE SIA, also demonstrated a downward trend in weekly downloads. The app began with 444 downloads at the end of June, experienced a peak of 507 in mid-July, and concluded the quarter with 231 downloads.
