In the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 dating apps in Switzerland experienced diverse trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at approximately $724K in early July and dipping to around $535K in early September. Weekly downloads ranged from 3.3K to 4.3K, while weekly active users hovered between 172K and 181K, showing a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date experienced a varied weekly revenue trend, peaking at nearly $37K in mid-July and falling to around $26K by mid-September. Weekly downloads showed minor fluctuations, staying between 1.9K and 2.7K. The app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, ranging from 20K to 22K throughout the quarter.
Badoo: Dating. Chat. Friends demonstrated a consistent revenue trend with weekly earnings peaking at approximately $72K in early July and decreasing to about $47K by the end of September. The app’s weekly downloads remained relatively steady, fluctuating between 1.8K and 2.2K. Weekly active users varied slightly, ranging from 77K to 85K over the quarter.
LOVOO - Dating App & Chat App recorded its highest weekly revenue of approximately $63K in early August and its lowest at around $32K in mid-August. Weekly downloads for the app ranged between 1.4K and 2K, while weekly active users showed a slight decline from 53K to about 44K by the end of September.
Azar: Video Chat & Meet People had a peak weekly revenue of about $143K in mid-July, with a low of around $96K in mid-September. The app’s weekly downloads fluctuated between 957 and 1.6K. Weekly active users showed a downward trend, starting at 16K and ending at roughly 14K by the end of the quarter.
