State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

During the third quarter of 2021, the top five navigation and maps applications in Russia demonstrated notable trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, as observed from Sensor Tower data.
Yandex Maps & Navigator saw a significant increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $3.7K in the first week of August. The app's weekly downloads remained robust, averaging around 250K to 300K throughout the quarter. Active users also saw a gradual increase, reaching around 9.4M by the end of September.
2GIS: Offline Map & Navigation did not generate any revenue during this period but maintained a steady weekly download rate, peaking at 194K in late August. The app's active users hovered around 6.2M to 6.6M, showing a stable user base.
Yandex Navi – navigation, maps experienced a noticeable spike in weekly revenue in early August, reaching $4.3K. Weekly downloads ranged between 130K and 180K, while active users saw a slight decline from approximately 5.1M to 4.5M over the quarter.
Google Maps maintained a consistent download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 40K to 49K. The app's active users showed a downward trend, decreasing from around 5.1M to 4.6M during the quarter.
MAPS.ME: Offline Maps, GPS Nav generated modest weekly revenue, peaking at $711 in the last week of September. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, averaging around 25K to 30K. Active users saw a decline, dropping from 171K to 140K by the end of the period.
