In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top 5 medical apps on the Android platform in Spain demonstrated interesting performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared:
Tarjeta Sanitaria saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 18.8K at the end of September and peaking at around 46.6K in mid-December. The app’s weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, beginning at about 197K and reaching nearly 239K by the end of the year.
Radar COVID experienced a substantial rise in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 3.5K in late September and climbing to around 34.7K by mid-December. Active users also increased, from roughly 376K to about 453K over the same period.
CovidCheck.lu had a remarkable surge in downloads, particularly in late November, where downloads jumped from 404 to around 32.8K. This trend continued, with weekly downloads reaching approximately 20.1K in late December.
Quirónsalud maintained a steady pattern in downloads, starting at about 6.6K in late September and peaking at around 10.6K in mid-December. The app’s active users also saw an increase, from around 44.2K to approximately 53.1K by the end of the quarter.
Salud Informa showed a significant jump in weekly downloads in late November, from approximately 3.5K to around 15.1K. However, downloads tapered off slightly towards the end of December, settling at about 5.5K. Active users increased from around 43.6K to approximately 60.3K during the same period.
