Throughout the fourth quarter of 2021, the performance of the top 5 sniper games on the Android platform in Nigeria showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active user metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Sniper 3D: Gun Shooting Games by Wildlife Studios maintained a significant presence in the market. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 9.9K in mid-October and then experiencing a dip to approximately 3.2K by late November. However, the numbers rebounded to nearly 6.9K by the end of December. Revenue trends showed a steady decline, starting at $257 in late September and dropping to $186 by the last week of December. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at about 70.3K and ending the quarter at approximately 59.1K.
Legend Sniper Shooting Game 3D from GAMEXIS had a consistent increase in downloads, beginning at 649 in late September and rising to 2.2K by the end of December. Active users also saw growth, starting at 1.9K and reaching 4.1K over the same period.
Sniper Fury: Shooting Game by Gameloft SE showed modest performance in downloads, peaking at around 1K in late September but dropping to about 403 by the end of December. Weekly revenue remained minimal, with occasional small spikes. Active users started at 2.4K and gradually decreased to around 1.5K by the end of the quarter.
Modern Sniper by Candy Mobile exhibited stable download numbers, ranging from 305 to 644 throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively steady, fluctuating between 3K and 4.3K.
Sniper Special Forces 3D from Atta Games, LLC saw a significant increase in both downloads and active users. Downloads rose from 15 in early October to 1.4K by the end of December. Active users also grew from 151 in mid-October to 2K by the end of December.
