State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
The fourth quarter of 2021 saw varying performances among the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Turkey. Here’s a look at how these apps fared in terms of weekly downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Throughout Q4 2021, weekly downloads for BlaBlaCar fluctuated, peaking at around 16.8K in late October before settling around 10.4K towards the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at approximately 31.4K in early October and rising to about 39K by the end of December.
Uber experienced stable weekly downloads, averaging around 10K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a notable increase, starting at about 378K and reaching approximately 436K by the end of December.
Weekly downloads for Uber’s driver app saw significant growth, beginning at around 800 in early October and climbing to about 4.3K by mid-December. Active users also increased steadily, from approximately 4.9K to about 9.4K by the end of the quarter.
Bolt maintained a consistent download rate, averaging around 2K weekly downloads. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging from about 13.2K to 14.4K throughout the quarter.
Yandex Go's weekly downloads varied slightly, averaging around 2.1K. Active users showed a gradual increase, starting at approximately 30.1K and peaking at around 35K in late December.
