In the first quarter of 2022, the performance of the top basketball games on Android in the Dominican Republic showcased varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a detailed look at how these apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
NBA 2K Mobile Basketball Game from 2K, Inc. experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $73 in the week of February 7. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a high of 852 in the week of January 31 and a low of 463 in the week of February 28. Active users showed a slight upward trend, starting from 1.5K at the beginning of the quarter and ending at around 1.6K.
NBA 2K20 maintained a strong revenue performance throughout the quarter. The game peaked at $69 in the first week of January and generally remained above $30 for most of the quarter.
NBA LIVE Mobile Basketball by ELECTRONIC ARTS led the charts in terms of downloads and active users. Downloads reached a peak of 4.5K in the week of March 14, while weekly active users grew steadily, peaking at approximately 24K in mid-March. Revenue varied, with highs of $64 in early February and $61 at the end of February.
NBA NOW 24 from Com2uS showed moderate performance. Revenue saw a peak of $19 in the first week of January, while weekly downloads and active users remained relatively stable, with peaks at 362 downloads in late January and 583 active users in the same period.
Basketball Stars: Multiplayer by Miniclip.com had a mixed quarter. Weekly downloads saw a notable peak of 3.2K in early January, but declined to around 1.4K by the end of March. Active users also saw a downward trend, starting at 9.3K at the beginning of the quarter and ending at approximately 6.2K. Revenue, however, spiked to $35 in the last week of March.
