In the first quarter of 2022, dragon-themed games continued to captivate Android users in the United States. Here, we take a closer look at the performance of the top 5 dragon games: Dragon City: Mobile Adventure, Solitaire Dragons, Dragon Mania Legends, Merge Dragons!, and Dragon Island. Data is sourced from Sensor Tower, where more insights can be found.
Dragon City: Mobile Adventure from Social Point experienced consistent engagement throughout Q1 2022. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at around $140K in late March. Downloads varied, with a high of approximately 32K in mid-March, while active users ranged from 612K to 738K, showing a strong and steady user base.
Solitaire Dragons saw a notable decrease in weekly downloads from a high of 35K at the start of the quarter to around 11K by the end. Revenue was relatively stable, staying around the $1K mark, while active users fluctuated between 32K and 51K.
Dragon Mania Legends by Gameloft SE showed impressive growth in weekly downloads, peaking at 24K in mid-March. Revenue trends were positive, with a significant increase to $41K in the final week of March. Active users also saw an upward trend, reaching nearly 89K.
Merge Dragons! from Zynga maintained high revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately $900K in late January. Downloads, however, saw a slight decline, stabilizing around 15K. The game sustained a robust active user count, ranging from 238K to 300K.
Lastly, Dragon Island by AlohaFactory, which launched in March, showed promising growth. Weekly downloads surged to about 63K by the end of March, and active users increased significantly from 1.9K to over 100K within the quarter.
