During the first quarter of 2022, the top health and fitness apps on the Android platform in Central America showed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Blood Pressure App started the quarter with 3.6K weekly downloads, which saw a significant increase, peaking at approximately 169K in late February. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting at 2.5K and reaching around 182K by the end of February.
Home Fitness Coach: FitCoach experienced a notable jump in weekly downloads, starting at 73.9K and hitting a peak of 208K in early January. Weekly revenue for the app was also impressive, starting at about $4.8K and peaking at $12.6K during the same period. The number of weekly active users followed this upward trajectory, starting at 134K and reaching a peak of 349K in early January.
IMSS Digital showed a consistent performance in terms of weekly downloads, starting at 46.9K and maintaining figures around 60K to 90K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users increased from 119K to 227K in the first two weeks of January and remained stable around 150K to 155K for the remainder of the quarter.
Six Pack in 30 Days saw steady weekly downloads, starting at 31.3K and peaking at about 41.5K in late February. The app's weekly active users remained robust, beginning the quarter at 268K and peaking at around 303K in late February. Weekly revenue hovered around the $20 to $40 range throughout the quarter.
Workout for Women: Fit at Home had consistent weekly downloads, starting at 35.6K and maintaining figures around 26K to 68K. Weekly revenue for the app varied slightly, staying between $20 and $46. Weekly active users started at 217K, peaked at 302K in early January, and ended the quarter at approximately 205K.
