In Q1 2022, the top 5 insurance apps on Android in Nigeria exhibited varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and revenue. Here's a closer look at the data provided by Sensor Tower.
MyAXA Plus from AXA Mansard saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting with 545 downloads in late December, it peaked at 1.3K downloads by mid-March, before slightly dipping to 1.2K at the end of the quarter.
Reliance Care experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads. The app saw a significant jump to 884 downloads in the first week of January, then fluctuated throughout the quarter, ending March with 815 downloads.
Hygeia Mobile from Hygeia HMO had modest download numbers, starting with 126 downloads in the final week of December. The app's downloads peaked at 310 in mid-March, then tapered off to 242 by the end of the quarter.
Wellness Plus showed varied performance in Q1 2022. After a slow start, the app saw a significant increase, peaking at 474 downloads in mid-March, before dropping sharply to just 15 downloads in the last week of the quarter.
Bastion Mobile App had a moderate performance with fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting at 31 downloads in late December, the app peaked at 108 downloads in the first week of January but experienced a decline, ending March with 59 downloads.
