Throughout the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 lifestyle apps on Android in the Middle East demonstrated interesting performance trends. Here’s a closer look at each app's weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Muslim Muna: Quran Azkar Athan
This app saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at about $342 in the final week of March. Downloads experienced a significant surge, reaching approximately 109K in the same week. Active users also showed a consistent upward trend, starting from around 661K at the beginning of January and peaking at 911K by the end of March.
Despite not generating any revenue, Pinterest maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads ranging from 32K to 50K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly but generally staying around the 1.5M mark throughout the quarter.

This app experienced modest revenue, with peaks of $7 in the first week of February. Downloads showed a notable increase, especially in late January, reaching up to 26K weekly. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting from 3.6K and rising to around 43K by mid-March.
Prayer Times - Azan Pro Muslim
The app's revenue saw slight fluctuations, with the highest weekly revenue being $82 in early January. Downloads spiked significantly in the final week of March, hitting around 124K. Active users showed growth from 55K at the start of the quarter to approximately 155K by the end of March.
Muslim Pro: Quran Athan Prayer
Revenue for this app peaked at $833 in the last week of March, showing a steady rise throughout the quarter. Downloads also saw a significant increase, especially towards the end of March, reaching about 83K. Active users grew from 379K at the beginning of January to over 609K by the end of March.
