Throughout the first quarter of 2022, DoorDash - Food Delivery demonstrated a steady performance in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 392K and ending the quarter at around 291K. Its weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at about 13.3M in mid-March before closing the quarter at nearly 13M.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery saw a decline in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter at about 272K and decreasing to roughly 158K by the end of March. Active users for Uber Eats remained relatively stable, with a slight dip in late February to around 10.8M, but recovered to end the quarter at approximately 11.3M.
McDonald's maintained consistent download numbers, starting at around 213K and ending at about 190K weekly downloads. The app's active users increased from roughly 4M at the beginning of the quarter to about 4.3M by the end of March, indicating a steady growth in user engagement.
Starbucks experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads from approximately 183K at the start of the quarter to around 116K by the end of March. However, its active users remained fairly stable, starting at about 4M and ending the quarter at around 3.6M.
Yelp: Food, Delivery & Reviews showed a varied trend in weekly downloads, beginning at around 159K, dipping to approximately 113K in late March, and then slightly increasing to about 121K by the end of the quarter. The active user base for Yelp started at about 7.2M, saw a decrease to roughly 6.2M in early January, and fluctuated throughout the quarter, closing at about 6.4M.
