In Q1 2022, the top health and fitness apps on iOS in the United Arab Emirates exhibited diverse user engagement and download patterns. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these top 5 apps based on data from Sensor Tower.
In terms of weekly downloads, SEHA saw a significant decrease over the quarter, starting with 9.6K in the first week of January and dropping to around 1.5K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, with active users falling from approximately 132.6K to 116.6K over the same period.
Weekly downloads for Dubai Health - دبي الصحية began at 8K at the start of January and gradually declined to about 1.5K by the end of March. The number of weekly active users also saw a decline, from 69K in early January to roughly 52.9K by the end of the quarter.
The COVID19 - DXB Smart App experienced a sharp drop in weekly downloads from 14.5K in the first week of January to approximately 998 by the end of March. Similarly, weekly active users decreased from 21.7K to around 5.3K during the same period.
COVID-19 EHS showed a similar trend, with weekly downloads starting at 7.7K in early January and declining to about 749 by the end of March. The weekly active users also saw a reduction, falling from 35.5K to approximately 21.6K over the quarter.
Tawakkalna Emergency had a relatively stable performance in terms of weekly downloads, starting at 3K and ending at around 5.9K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users increased significantly from 34.7K to approximately 54.1K over the same period.
