State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
During the first quarter of 2022, the top five social networking apps on iOS in Russia showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at each app's trends:
VK: social network, messenger experienced significant fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $822K in the week of January 31 and then declining to about $356K by the week of March 21. Weekly downloads for this app varied, reaching a high of 134K in the week of March 7, while weekly active users saw an overall increase from around 11M at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 11.2M by the end of March.
Odnoklassniki: Social network had a mixed performance in terms of revenue, starting at around $75K in the last week of December and ending at approximately $49K by the end of March. Weekly downloads showed a notable increase mid-quarter, peaking at 50K in the week of March 7. Active users displayed a relatively stable trend, starting at about 1.47M and closing the quarter at around 1.37M.
Mamba: Dating, Meet New People showed a downward trend in weekly revenue, beginning at about $44K in the last week of December and dropping to roughly $24K by the end of March. Weekly downloads saw a rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching 15K in the last week of March. Active users also saw a steady increase, from around 203K at the start to approximately 210K by the end of March.
Reports: Followers Tracker saw its weekly revenue peak at approximately $17K in the week of January 17, followed by a decline to around $2.7K by the end of March. Downloads were relatively steady, with a high of 17.6K in mid-January and a low of 8.1K in the last week of March. Active users ranged from about 94K at the start to 100K by the end of the quarter.
