The first quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends for the top 5 music and audio apps in Serbia on a unified platform. Here’s a detailed look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.
Spotify: Music and Podcasts maintained a steady presence in the Serbian market. Weekly downloads started strong at around 9K in late December and peaked at 12.3K in mid-January. However, the numbers saw a gradual decline towards the end of the quarter, finishing at approximately 7.3K in the last week of March.
Phone Ringtones experienced a significant surge in weekly downloads. Starting with modest figures around 100 in early January, the app saw a dramatic increase, peaking at 7.4K in the last week of February. Though there was a slight drop, the app still maintained a robust presence with 5K downloads by the end of March. Revenue trends were modest, starting at $1 in late February and peaking at $7 in mid-March.
Music Player - Audify Player showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads. The app began with 4K downloads in late December, then fluctuated slightly but remained fairly stable, ending the quarter with approximately 1.7K downloads. Revenue was minimal, peaking at $3 in mid-January.
StarMaker: Sing Karaoke Songs initially saw a high number of downloads, starting at 7.4K in late December. However, there was a sharp decline to around 500 by the end of March. Revenue trends were modest, with a peak of $87 in late December and gradually tapering off to $26 by the end of the quarter.
Radio Uživo - Radio Stanice FM maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter. Starting with 2.2K downloads in late December, the app saw a consistent performance, peaking at 2.7K in the last two weeks of March.
