State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
During the second quarter of 2022, the performance of the top 5 art and design applications on the Android platform in Nigeria showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how each app performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor experienced a steady weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.6K in early May. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of around 21K in the first week of April before tapering off to about 16K by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 160K to 180K throughout the quarter.
OpenSea: NFT marketplace saw its weekly downloads peak at over 22K in mid-April, but this was followed by a significant decline, dropping to just over 800 by the end of June. Active users mirrored this trend, with a peak of approximately 29K in mid-April, decreasing to around 4.6K by the end of the quarter.
Animated Sticker Maker (FSM) maintained a consistent download rate, ranging from about 3.3K to 4.4K weekly. Active users also remained stable, generally fluctuating between 6.7K and 7.8K throughout the quarter.
Logo Maker - Graphic Design started the quarter strong with over 4.4K weekly downloads at the end of March. However, downloads saw a sharp drop to only 71 by the end of June. Unfortunately, no active user data was available for this application.
Pixelcut AI Photo Editor showed a gradual increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $53 in early May. Downloads saw an upward trend, reaching around 4.2K in mid-June. Active users increased significantly from approximately 4.2K at the end of March to over 15K by the end of June.
