During the second quarter of 2022, the finance category on the Android platform in Turkey saw significant activity among the top five apps. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these leading finance applications.
Akbank experienced notable fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting at approximately 85K downloads in late March, the app saw a peak of around 332K in mid-April. Following this peak, downloads varied, ending the quarter at about 121K. Active users for the app increased steadily from around 2.5M to nearly 3.35M by the end of June.
Ziraat Mobile maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, starting at roughly 102K weekly downloads and reaching a high of around 126K in mid-April. The app concluded the quarter with approximately 112K downloads. Active user numbers showed a slight increase, starting from 8M and ending at approximately 8.17M.
Yapı Kredi Mobile - SuperApp demonstrated stable download trends, beginning with around 100K in late March and peaking at roughly 115K in late April. Although there was a dip to about 55K in early May, downloads recovered to approximately 92K by the end of June. Active users saw a gradual rise from about 4.17M to nearly 4.73M over the quarter.
Garanti BBVA Mobile showed consistent weekly downloads, starting at around 87K and peaking at roughly 99K in early April. The app's downloads dipped mid-quarter but ended strong with about 92K in the final week of June. Active users increased steadily from around 4.93M to approximately 5.42M by the end of the quarter.
Papara had varied download numbers, beginning at around 60K in late March and peaking at approximately 90K in early May. The app ended the quarter with about 52K downloads. Active users showed some fluctuations but maintained a steady presence, starting at around 1.49M and ending the quarter at approximately 1.61M.
