In Q2 2022, the top 5 food and diet tracking apps on the Android platform in France exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these leading apps.
Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner from Yuka App saw a fluctuating yet generally stable weekly revenue, peaking at around $2.9K in late April. Weekly downloads reached a high of 32.5K in early April but showed a declining trend towards the end of the quarter, settling at approximately 11.6K by late June. The app maintained a robust active user base, peaking at 383K in late April before slightly decreasing to 352K by the end of June.
168 Intermittent Fasting App by Leap Fitness Group experienced steady weekly revenue, which hovered around $1K throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 6.3K in early May, but ended the quarter at around 4.8K. The app's active users peaked at 62.5K in early May, before seeing a slight dip towards the end of the quarter, closing at 54K.
Lifesum Food Tracker & Fasting from Lifesum showed consistent weekly revenue with minor fluctuations, reaching approximately $4.6K in early May. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, peaking at 5.7K in early May and ending the quarter at around 4.1K. Active users saw a general increase, peaking at 95.5K in mid-May before slightly decreasing to 86K by the end of June.
YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter from YAZIO had the highest weekly revenue among the apps, peaking at approximately $7.9K in early May. Weekly downloads peaked at 4.7K in early May but gradually declined to around 2.8K by the end of June. The app maintained a stable active user base, peaking at 198K in mid-May and ending the quarter with 181K active users.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter by MyFitnessPal, Inc. experienced consistent weekly revenue, peaking at around $4.6K in late June. Weekly downloads reached a peak of 4.3K in mid-April and ended the quarter at approximately 3.2K. Active users saw an upward trend, peaking at 78.2K in mid-May before slightly declining to 71.8K by the end of June.
