In Q2 2022, the performance of the top five food delivery apps in Colombia on the Android platform showcased interesting trends. Here's a detailed look at each app's performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
DiDi Food: Express Delivery saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 65.6K in the week of May 30. The app's active users fluctuated, with a high of approximately 231K at the start of the quarter, settling around 216K by the end of June.
Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of around 39.1K in the final week of June. Active users for Rappi showed a slight upward trend, starting at approximately 857K and finishing the quarter at around 938K.
iFood - Comida a Domicilio experienced a more varied download trend, with a peak of about 29.9K in the last week of March and fluctuating numbers throughout the quarter. The app's active users saw minor fluctuations, starting at around 455K and ending at approximately 411K.
TaDa Delivery por Bavaria showed significant growth in weekly downloads, particularly in late May, peaking at around 26.4K. The number of active users also increased, reaching a high of approximately 31.8K in mid-June.
JOKR - Fast Grocery Delivery had a varied download trend, with a peak of roughly 13.4K in late April but a noticeable decline towards the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at around 43.4K in late April and then decreasing to approximately 30.4K by the end of June.
