The second quarter of 2022 showed interesting trends for the top 5 Maps and Navigation apps on Android in Norway. Below, we explore the performance of Skippo Norway, Navionics® Boating, Norgeskart Outdoors, TomTom GO Navigation, and C-MAP Boating.
Skippo Norway from Skippo Boatlife saw a consistent rise in weekly revenue, starting from around $1.1K at the end of March and peaking at approximately $4.7K by the end of June. Weekly downloads also increased steadily, beginning at 132 and reaching 522 by the last week of June.
Navionics® Boating from Garmin Italy Technologies srl experienced a notable growth in weekly revenue, starting at $801 in late March and climbing to $3.9K by the end of June. The app's weekly downloads saw fluctuations, with a peak of 415 downloads in the final week of June. Active users also rose steadily, from 152 in late March to 508 by the end of June.
Norgeskart Outdoors by Ture Apps AS demonstrated a varied revenue trend, beginning at $1.8K in late March, dipping mid-quarter, and ending at $1.7K in the last week of June. Weekly downloads showed a peak at 532 in mid-April, but then generally remained around the 350-440 range through the quarter.
TomTom GO Navigation from TomTom International BV showed a consistent increase in revenue, starting at $270 at the end of March and peaking at $994 in mid-June. Weekly downloads saw a peak of 370 by the final week of June, while active users grew from 342 in late March to 623 by the end of June.
C-MAP Boating by Navico Norway AS experienced a steady rise in weekly revenue, beginning at $179 in late March and reaching $965 by the end of June. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 83 in the final week of June. Active users also showed growth, from 38 in late March to 61 by the end of June.
