State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
During the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Argentina showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here is an overview of how each app fared based on Sensor Tower data.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a consistent performance throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads ranged from around 8.9K to 14.7K, peaking in mid-April. The app's weekly active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 188K and reaching a high of 195K in mid-April before settling back to around 183K by the end of June.
Google Earth also demonstrated stable performance. Weekly downloads varied between 8.9K and 12.1K, with a notable increase in early April. Active users saw a steady climb from 72.5K at the start of the quarter to around 76K by the end of June, reflecting a consistent user base.
GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation experienced a slight decline in downloads over the quarter, dropping from 9.8K to 6.5K. Despite this, the app’s weekly revenue showed a gradual increase, peaking at $10 in early June. Active users fluctuated, starting at 24.7K and ending the quarter at 19.6K.
GPS Navigation - Route Planner saw an upward trend in downloads, increasing from 3.6K to 5.7K weekly downloads by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 4.9K and rising to 7K by the end of the quarter.
Lastly, GPS Speedometer - Odometer App maintained a relatively steady performance. Weekly downloads ranged between 3.6K and 4.5K, while weekly revenue saw minor fluctuations, peaking at $9 in mid-June. Active users hovered around the 7K mark, showing minor dips and rises throughout the quarter.
