Throughout Q2 2022, the leading Travel and Local apps on the Android platform in Brazil demonstrated diverse trends in downloads and active user metrics. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps during this period.
123milhas: Voos e Hotéis experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads from approximately 159K at the end of March to around 52K by the end of June. Active users also saw a gradual decrease from 497K to 376K in the same period.
Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained a relatively stable trend in weekly downloads, fluctuating between 48K and 67K. The app's active users showed some variability, peaking at 1.39M in mid-April and ending the quarter at approximately 1.33M.
Google Earth saw an increase in weekly downloads during the quarter, starting at 41K and reaching a peak of 63K in early June. Active users remained fairly consistent, hovering around 270K to 286K throughout the quarter.
ClickBus - Bus Tickets had a notable peak in downloads in mid-April at 57K, but then experienced fluctuations, ending the quarter with around 41K downloads. Active users varied, peaking at 161K in early June before settling at approximately 140K by the end of June.
Airbnb showed a steady pattern in weekly downloads, starting at 37K and ending the quarter at around 46K. Active users peaked at 597K in mid-April and saw a slight decline, ending the quarter with about 536K active users.
