Wordscapes from PeopleFun experienced notable growth in weekly downloads, starting at 6.6K in late March and peaking at 12.4K by mid-June. This growth was reflected in its active user base, which increased from around 66K to 75K over the quarter. Weekly revenue for Wordscapes remained relatively stable, fluctuating between $541 and $746.
Word Trip - Word Puzzle Game by PlaySimple Games saw a mixed trend in downloads, starting at 3.6K at the end of March and rising to 6.7K by the end of June. Active users for Word Trip showed a general upward trend, increasing from 15.3K to 18.5K. The game’s weekly revenue remained fairly steady, ranging from $393 to $689.
Scrabble® GO-Classic Word Game by Scopely had a more fluctuating performance. Weekly downloads varied between 846 and 2.1K, while active users ranged from 8.7K to 10.4K. Revenue for Scrabble® GO saw slight fluctuations, staying within $329 to $539 throughout the quarter.
Words of Wonders: Crossword by Fugo Games showed a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 12.3K at the end of March and dropping to around 5.3K by late June. Active users also decreased from 31.8K to approximately 23K. Revenue for Words of Wonders remained consistent, with weekly figures ranging from $253 to $434.
Words With Friends 2 Word Game by Zynga had the smallest number of downloads among the top 5, ranging from 129 to 239 weekly. Active users remained fairly stable, fluctuating slightly between 2.1K and 2.6K. Revenue for Words With Friends 2 showed minor variations, staying between $166 and $423 throughout the quarter.
