In the second quarter of 2022, the top fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on the iOS platform in Switzerland showed varying performance trends. Here, we provide a detailed look at the weekly downloads and active user metrics for the top 5 apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
McDonald’s - Non-US experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting with approximately 2.4K downloads at the end of March and peaking at 2.5K in mid-April. The downloads saw a decline to around 1.0K by mid-May but rebounded to nearly 1.9K by the end of June. The app also maintained a strong active user base, beginning the quarter with about 38.9K users and ending with approximately 55.1K users.
McDo France had a relatively stable download trend, with weekly downloads hovering around the 300 mark throughout the quarter. Active users remained consistent, starting at 3.6K and ending at approximately 3.5K.
McDonald’s Germany showed a slight increase in weekly downloads, starting at 224 and reaching up to 310 by early June. Active user numbers remained stable, fluctuating between 3.8K and 4.3K throughout the quarter.
Burger King CH saw a peak in weekly downloads at the beginning of the quarter with 3.1K downloads, followed by a general decline, hitting a low of around 900 downloads in mid-May. However, the app experienced a significant increase towards the end of June, reaching approximately 2.6K downloads.
Starbucks Switzerland had moderate weekly downloads, starting at 353 and peaking at 663 in late May. The downloads then saw a slight decline, ending the quarter at around 384.
