In the second quarter of 2022, the performance of the top five food delivery service apps on the iOS platform in Greece revealed interesting trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into downloads and active user metrics for these apps.
efood delivery demonstrated consistent weekly downloads, ranging from approximately 2.2K to 3.2K. The app experienced its highest downloads in the week of April 11, with around 3.2K downloads. Weekly active users for efood delivery were robust, starting at 34.2K at the end of March and fluctuating between 28.8K and 35.7K throughout the quarter.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 1.5K to 1.9K. The app peaked at 1.9K downloads in the week of May 2. Active users for Wolt Delivery saw a slight decline from 27.1K at the end of March to 23.4K by the end of June, with minor fluctuations in between.
BOX saw varied download numbers, starting at 1.9K at the end of March and experiencing a significant drop to 954 downloads in the week of April 25. However, the app rebounded to 1.8K downloads by the end of May and maintained this upward trend into June.
InstaShop: Grocery Delivery had relatively lower download figures, ranging from 238 to 441 weekly downloads. The app saw its highest downloads in the week of May 2, with 441 downloads. Active users for InstaShop grew steadily from 616 at the end of March to a peak of 778 in mid-June, before slightly declining to 663 by the end of the quarter.
Pop Market: Grocery Delivery exhibited a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 152 at the end of March and reaching a peak of 534 in the week of April 25. The app consistently maintained downloads above 300 from mid-May through the end of June.
