In the second quarter of 2022, the top communication apps in France on a unified platform showed diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how these apps fared:
Onoff from Onoff Telecom saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, starting at around $94.8K in late March and peaking at approximately $101K by the end of June. Weekly downloads varied, with a notable spike to 10.3K in early June. Active users maintained stability, hovering around 27K, but dropped to 23K by the end of the quarter.
Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out from Discord Inc. experienced consistent weekly revenue, averaging between $46.5K and $63.3K. Weekly downloads remained strong, ranging from 46K to 63.5K. Active users consistently stayed above the 5M mark, showcasing a robust user base.
Azar: Video Chat & Meet People from Hyperconnect LLC displayed stable revenue, fluctuating between $64.5K and $83.8K. Weekly downloads ranged from 11.8K to 14K, while active users remained steady around 140K, indicating consistent engagement.
Skype maintained a modest but steady revenue stream, peaking at $24K in late June. Weekly downloads varied between 12.5K and 14.7K. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at 778K in late March and ending at 726K by the end of June.
imo-International Calls & Chat from imo.im had relatively lower weekly revenue, peaking at $4.2K in early June. Weekly downloads ranged from 9.9K to 13.3K, while active users remained fairly stable, averaging around 330K.
