During the second quarter of 2022, the fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Sweden demonstrated diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 apps based on Sensor Tower data.
McDonald’s - Non-US had a stable performance in weekly downloads, starting at around 7.9K and fluctuating slightly before peaking at approximately 9.5K in early June. The app's weekly active users saw a significant increase, growing from around 123K at the beginning of the quarter to nearly 179K by the end of June.
Max Express also showed a consistent trend in weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from 4.9K to 6.5K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users remained relatively steady, averaging around 12K, with minor fluctuations during the period.
Espresso House experienced moderate weekly downloads, peaking at 5.1K in early May. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from approximately 77K at the start of the quarter to around 74K by the end of June, indicating a stable user base with minor variations.
Burger King Sverige had varied weekly downloads, starting at 3.1K and experiencing a notable dip to around 1.8K in early June. The app’s weekly downloads then rebounded to approximately 2.2K by the end of the quarter. No active user data was available for this app.
BURGER KING® Magyarország showed a downward trend in weekly downloads, starting at about 2.8K and decreasing to around 1.7K by the end of June. The app’s weekly active users followed a similar trend, declining from 20.1K to approximately 16.4K over the quarter.
