In the second quarter of 2022, the top five lifestyle apps in the United Arab Emirates showed varied performance metrics in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.
dubizzle maintained a steady download rate throughout Q2 2022. Weekly downloads ranged from around 12.8K to 15.7K, with a notable increase in mid-April. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained around the 110K to 118K mark, peaking at approximately 118.9K in mid-May.
Pinterest experienced consistent weekly downloads, generally hovering between 10K and 11.7K. The highest download count was approximately 11.7K in early May. Active users saw a slight decline from 1.13M to 1.09M at the start of the quarter but recovered to around 1.16M by the end of June.
Smiles UAE showed a varied download trend, starting at around 9.5K and peaking at 16.8K at the end of May. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 51K and peaking at 66.5K in late May. Despite some fluctuations, the app maintained a solid user base throughout the quarter.
ADNOC Dist had notable increases in weekly downloads, starting from 4.4K and reaching up to 19.9K by the end of June. Active users also showed a significant rise, starting at 46.6K and peaking at around 70.5K in the last week of June.
All Dubai Jobs & UAE Careers saw a dramatic increase in weekly downloads, starting from 4.8K and reaching up to 18.1K by the end of June. This app did not have active user data available, but the download trends indicate a growing interest among users.
