In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 navigation applications in Germany on a unified platform showed varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance:
calimoto motorcycle navigation from calimoto GmbH experienced notable growth in revenue, peaking at around $100.9K in the week of May 30. Weekly downloads also saw an upward trend, reaching approximately 13K in mid-June. Active users increased steadily throughout the quarter, peaking at around 22.3K in late May.
Blitzer.de PRO by Eifrig Media maintained a consistent performance, with weekly revenue hovering around $40K to $46K. Downloads peaked at about 35.9K in late May. The app also saw a steady rise in active users, reaching approximately 240.2K in the last week of June.
TomTom GO Navigation, published by TomTom, saw a significant increase in revenue, peaking at around $56.1K in the last week of June. Downloads showed a fluctuating trend, hitting a high of approximately 18.6K in early June. Active users also increased, peaking at around 46K in early June.
Geocaching® by Groundspeak Inc. had a varied performance in Q2 2022. Revenue peaked at approximately $67.6K in mid-April, while downloads reached about 12.6K in the same period. The app’s active users saw a peak of around 30.6K in mid-April.
Navionics® Boating from Garmin Italy Technologies S.R.L. showed steady growth in revenue, peaking at around $35.2K in early June. Downloads saw a gradual increase, reaching approximately 1.5K in the same period. Active users also increased, peaking at around 2K in early June.
