In Q2 2022, the top sandbox-like games in Turkey demonstrated diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. Here's an overview of the performance of these popular games, as per the data from Sensor Tower.
Roblox experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $109K in early May. Downloads saw a significant rise, starting from 103K in late March and reaching 132K by the end of June. Active users also showed a positive trend, growing from 4.4M to nearly 4.7M over the quarter.
Minecraft had a consistent performance with weekly revenue varying between $6K and $14K. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 47K in late March and ending at 42K in late June. The game maintained a stable active user base, with a slight growth from 496K to 513K during the quarter.
Play Together showed a marked decline in both revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue dropped from $7.5K in late March to just a few hundred dollars by late June. Downloads also decreased from 4.8K to about 2.6K. Active users saw a downward trend, reducing from 20K to around 16K.
PK XD: Fun, friends & games had a relatively stable revenue, ranging from $2.9K to $5.1K weekly. Downloads saw some fluctuations, peaking at 100K in late March and stabilizing around 40K by the end of June. Active users exhibited some variation, with a high of 345K mid-June and closing at 279K.
LINE PLAY - Our Avatar World had minimal activity in terms of downloads, with figures mostly hovering around zero. Weekly revenue showed some variation, peaking at $5.9K at the end of May. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 200 mark.
