In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 sports apps in Turkey demonstrated diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s an insightful breakdown of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Soccer Superstar from Real Freestyle Soccer saw weekly downloads peak at around 114K in early May, with a consistent range of 74K to 104K in the following weeks. Weekly revenue varied, reaching a high of $87 in mid-April and maintaining modest figures around $50-$77 for the rest of the quarter. Weekly active users steadily increased from 265K at the end of March to around 328K by the end of June.
Ea Sports FC™ Mobile Soccer by Electronic Arts experienced strong weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $53.7K in early May. The app's weekly downloads fluctuated between 67K and 101K, with active users showing a significant rise, starting at 1.55M and ending the quarter at nearly 1.95M.
Head Ball 2 - Online Soccer from Masomo Gaming enjoyed a peak in weekly downloads at 115.5K in mid-April, though numbers later settled between 53K and 79K. Revenue peaked at $21.1K in early April but saw a decline to around $10.5K-$15.1K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated, starting at 782K and increasing to approximately 848K by the end of the quarter.
Pro League Soccer by Rasu Games showed a significant rise in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of 102.3K in late April. However, downloads gradually decreased to about 33.7K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, growing from 54K to a peak of 195K in late April, then stabilizing around 118K by the end of the quarter.
8 Ball Pool from Miniclip.com had consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 47.5K to 86.7K. Weekly revenue showed a peak of $23.6K at the end of March, with a general trend around $9.8K to $14.3K for the rest of the quarter. Active users varied, starting at 803K and reaching around 727K by the end of June.
