The third quarter of 2022 presented an interesting landscape for the top air travel apps on the Android platform in Romania. Here's a detailed look at the performance metrics of the leading apps in this category.
Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save maintained a steady presence in the market. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at approximately 5.5K in early September, while active users saw a slight increase, reaching around 17.2K in the same period.
Flightradar24 Flight Tracker showed diverse trends. Weekly downloads peaked at 2.8K in early August but declined to around 1.5K by the end of September. Revenue followed a similar trend, with a high of $512 in mid-September. Active users saw a gradual decrease from around 17.7K in late June to approximately 14.7K by the end of the quarter.
Ryanair experienced a consistent pattern in downloads, peaking at 1.8K in early September. Despite this, active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly but averaging around 7.3K in early September.
Blue Air The Better Way To Fly had notable fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at 4K in late August but dropping significantly to around 200 by the end of September.
eSky - Cheap Flights & Hotels also saw varied performance. Weekly downloads reached a high of 1.5K in late August but decreased to approximately 1K by the end of September. Active users showed a downward trend from about 3.3K in late June to around 2.4K by the end of the quarter.
