The third quarter of 2022 saw varying performance trends among the top 5 cooking games on the Android platform in Ghana. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Throughout Q3 2022, weekly downloads for Sweet Fruit Candy started strong but experienced a steady decline, dropping from approximately 4.3K in late June to around 1.4K by the end of September. Weekly active users also saw a downward trend, starting at 27.6K and decreasing to 20.9K.
Fruit Link - Line Blast showed a positive trend in weekly downloads, climbing from 2.2K in late June to 3.2K by mid-September. Active user numbers mirrored this growth, increasing from 13K to around 15K over the quarter.
Cooking Joy 2 experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 1.2K in late June and peaking at 3.1K by early September. Active users also grew from 1.8K to 3.7K. Revenue, however, remained relatively flat, averaging about $3 per week.
Weekly downloads for Crazy Chef: Cooking Race saw significant growth, rising from 297 in late June to 5.1K by early September. The number of active users followed a similar trend, increasing from 978 to 9.4K. Revenue showed minor fluctuations, peaking at $3 in early September.
Cooking Fever: Restaurant Game maintained a steady performance in weekly downloads, ranging between 1.2K and 2.3K throughout Q3. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 8.4K and 10.4K. Weekly revenue saw a peak of $29 in mid-September.
