Idle RPGs have been a mainstay in mobile gaming, offering players the chance to progress even while AFK (away from keyboard). In Q3 2022, several of these games have shown varying performance trends in Latin America on the Android platform, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Hero Wars: Alliance saw a significant increase in weekly active users from around 165k to over 206k by the end of the quarter. Downloads spiked to around 61k in the final week, while revenue also experienced an upward trend, peaking at around 32k.
Magic Rush: Heroes had a more modest download count, with numbers ranging from a few hundred to over 250 in the best week. The weekly active users saw a decrease from around 4.7k to 2.5k. Revenue for Magic Rush: Heroes fluctuated, ending the quarter at approximately 15k.
Idle Heroes showed mixed results with downloads peaking at over 10k before dropping to around 3.9k. Weekly active users started at around 40k and saw a slight decline to approximately 32k. Revenue trends saw a peak of around 7k midway through the quarter.
Taptap Heroes:ldle RPG had a varied download trend, with a significant jump to over 1.6k in the final week. Weekly active users hovered around 7k-9k throughout the quarter. Revenue saw a modest increase, concluding at around 1.1k.
Lastly, Ulala: Idle Adventure had negligible download activity, with only a few downloads recorded during the quarter. The game's active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to over 2.3k users by the end of Q3. Revenue figures were low, with the highest point at around 2.3k.
