In Q3 2022, the top 5 interactive story games on Android in the United States showcased varied performance metrics across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at each app's trends, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Save the Bro: Funny Choice, published by Brightika, Inc., saw a significant fluctuation in its weekly downloads, peaking at around 64.3K in late June and dropping to about 13.6K by mid-September. Weekly revenue also followed a downward trend, starting at approximately $135 and settling around $66 by the end of September. Active users showed a decline from 106.9K at the start of the quarter to around 74.9K by the end.
Episode - Choose Your Story maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue, averaging around $67K throughout the quarter. Downloads peaked in early August with about 36K and gradually declined to approximately 17.5K by the end of September. Active users initially surged from 97.2K to a peak of 122.4K in early August before decreasing to around 88K by the quarter's end.
Flirt Master 3D, despite not generating revenue, experienced varying weekly downloads, peaking at around 31.3K in early August before dropping to 12.6K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 25.9K and peaking at 34.7K in early August, then decreasing to around 18.4K by late September.
Chat Master!, another app without revenue data, saw its weekly downloads peak twice, once at approximately 28.4K in late June and again at around 32.5K in late September. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 96.8K, dipping to about 55.8K in early September, and then rebounding to around 93.1K by the end of the quarter.
MeChat - Interactive Stories enjoyed consistent weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $78.6K in late June and remaining around $59.4K by the end of September. Downloads also showed a steady pattern, starting at 21.4K and ending at 16.1K. Active users saw a slight increase from 45.3K at the beginning of the quarter to around 38.8K by the end.
