The third quarter of 2022 saw some interesting trends among the top military games on the Android platform in Turkey. Here’s a look at their performance based on downloads, revenue, and active users.
Special Forces Group 2 from ForgeGames experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting at approximately 46K at the beginning of the quarter and ending around 23K by the last week of September. Weekly revenue for this game saw peaks and troughs, with the highest point being $23 in the first week of July and dropping to $7 by the end of September. Active user numbers also showed a declining trend, from 141K in late June to about 100K by the end of the quarter.
Standoff 2 by AXLEBOLT LTD had a varied performance in weekly downloads, starting at roughly 11K in late June and peaking at nearly 33K in mid-September. Revenue figures showed a peak of about $11.7K in early July and fluctuated throughout the quarter, ending at around $5.9K. The game maintained a strong active user base, reaching up to 391K in late August.
Critical Strike CS: Online FPS from VERTIGO GAMES demonstrated steady weekly download numbers, beginning with 22K in late June, peaking at around 25K in early September, and ending at 15K by the end of the quarter. Revenue remained relatively stable, with minor variations, peaking at $915 in mid-September. Active user numbers saw a slight decline, starting at 142K in late June and ending at 113K in late September.
World War: Army Battle FPS 3D by Horus Entertainment saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads from 7.8K in late June to 16.2K by the end of September. Revenue for this game was modest, with the highest weekly revenue being $138 in late June and fluctuating throughout the quarter. Active users also increased, from 10K in late June to 18K by the end of September.
Finally, Tactical Strike: 3D Online FPS from Lokum Games had stable weekly download figures, starting at 13K in late June and maintaining around 9.2K by the end of September. Revenue peaked at $1.9K in early September and showed slight fluctuations throughout the quarter. Active users experienced a slight decline, from 46K in late June to 38K by the end of September.
