During the third quarter of 2022, the top 5 virtual pet applications on the Android platform in Australia showcased varying performance trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their metrics.
My Talking Tom 2 from Outfit7 Limited saw its weekly downloads peak in the week of August 22 at 3.2K. The app experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a high of approximately $532 in the week of September 19. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging from around 87.8K to 102K throughout the quarter.
My Talking Tom Friends, also by Outfit7 Limited, had a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $1.1K during the week of August 8. Weekly downloads saw a decline from 3.4K in late June to around 2.1K by the end of September. Active users hovered between 54.2K and 67.9K over the quarter.
Dog Life Simulator by BoomBit Games experienced a gradual decrease in weekly downloads from 4.9K at the start of the quarter to around 1.0K in mid-September, before recovering to 1.9K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a similar trend, starting at 15.5K and ending at around 13.0K.
My Talking Angela 2 from Outfit7 Limited had a peak in weekly downloads at 3.2K in early July. Revenue saw a significant drop in August, with the lowest at $122 on August 1 and a slight recovery to $173 by the end of September. Active users fluctuated between 15.1K and 20.4K.
Lastly, Talking Ben the Dog by Outfit7 Limited maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 1.4K downloads per week. Revenue remained low, peaking at $50 in late June. Active users showed a slight decline from 9.8K in late June to around 7.6K by the end of September.
