In Q3 2022, the performance of the top fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Malta on the iOS platform showcased interesting trends. Here, we delve into the weekly downloads and active user metrics for these apps, as provided by Sensor Tower.
McDonald’s - Non-US saw varied weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting with 158 downloads in the last week of June, the app experienced a peak of 544 downloads in the week of July 25. Following this peak, the downloads fluctuated, ending the quarter with 141 downloads in the final week of September.
Burger King® Malta had a more stable download trend. The app started with 43 downloads in the last week of June and saw a gradual increase, peaking at 98 downloads in the last week of September. The weekly downloads generally ranged between 29 and 61 throughout the quarter.
Dr. Juice experienced modest download numbers. Initially, it had 23 downloads at the end of June, with a slight increase and fluctuations, peaking at 48 downloads in the first week of July. The app ended the quarter with 40 downloads in the last week of September.
Costa Club Malta also showed a fluctuating download pattern. Starting with 13 downloads at the end of June, the app experienced a significant increase, reaching 62 downloads in the last week of September. The weekly downloads mostly ranged from 7 to 41 throughout the quarter.
Domino's Malta had a relatively steady download trend. The app started with 18 downloads at the end of June, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter, peaking at 27 downloads in the second week of July. It ended the quarter with 20 downloads in the final week of September.
