In the third quarter of 2022, the top five personal finance budgeting and planning apps in Guatemala displayed diverse performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Wallet - Daily Budget & Profit saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting from around $31 in late June and peaking at approximately $152 by the end of September. Weekly downloads also surged significantly, particularly in the last week of September, reaching 150. Active users showed steady growth, culminating in 186 by the end of the quarter.
Mobills - Budget Planner experienced fluctuating revenue, with a high of about $107 in mid-September. Downloads remained relatively low throughout the quarter, peaking at 45 in mid-September. Active users remained fairly stable, hovering around the 300 mark, with a slight peak of 335 users in the week of September 19.
YNAB encountered a varied revenue trend, with a notable peak of $109 in late July. Weekly downloads were minimal, with a maximum of 19 in mid-September.
Spendee Money & Budget Planner showed a steady revenue increase, hitting approximately $61 in late August. Downloads remained modest but saw a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 23. Active users remained relatively consistent, averaging around 100 throughout the period.
Lastly, Buddy: Budget Planner App had a highly variable revenue pattern, with a peak of about $104 in late June. Downloads fluctuated, with a peak of 30 in late August. Active users stayed relatively stable, around 110 on average.
