In Q3 2022, the top 5 Pokémon collector games demonstrated varied performance metrics in France across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here, we break down the trends for each of these popular titles.
Throughout the quarter, Pokémon GO from Niantic, Inc. saw fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at $217K in the week of August 22. Weekly downloads showed a peak of around 30K in the same week, while active users started at 1.58M at the beginning of the quarter and gradually decreased to 1.39M by the end of September.
Pokémon Masters EX by DeNA Co., Ltd. experienced an increase in weekly revenue mid-quarter, reaching approximately $60K in the week of August 29. Downloads saw a gradual rise, peaking at around 4.6K in the week of September 12. Active users increased from 30.7K at the start of the quarter to a high of 61K by the end of August before settling at 43K in the last week of September.
Evertale from ZigZaGame Inc. showed a mixed revenue trend with a peak of $19.5K in mid-September. Weekly downloads reached their highest at 11.6K in the week of August 22. Active users increased steadily, starting at 31.7K and peaking at 49.7K in the same week, before ending the quarter at 42.3K.
The Pokémon Company’s Pokémon UNITE saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, peaking at 32.7K in mid-September. Revenue trends varied, with a peak of $12.1K in mid-August. Active users increased from 39.6K at the start of the quarter to a peak of 71.5K in early September, ending at 63.3K.
Smart Study Games Co., Ltd.'s Monster Super League maintained modest performance metrics. Weekly revenue peaked at $2.9K in late August, while downloads remained relatively stable with a slight peak of 422 in mid-July. Active users showed a slight decline from 430 to 385 over the quarter.
