State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the third quarter of 2022, the top five shopping apps in Brazil on a unified platform—encompassing both iOS and Android—showed notable trends in weekly downloads and active users, as analyzed by Sensor Tower.
Shopee Brasil - Frete Zero led the market with substantial weekly downloads, peaking at around 1M in early July. However, it saw a gradual decline to approximately 545K by the end of September. The app also maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users fluctuating between 20.5M and 24M throughout the quarter.
SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced a steady increase in weekly active users, starting at 10.7M at the beginning of the quarter and reaching approximately 12.7M by the end of September. Weekly downloads for SHEIN showed a similar upward trend, peaking at roughly 899K in mid-July before tapering off to around 591K by late September.
Mercado Libre: Compras Online also demonstrated consistent performance, with weekly downloads hovering around 400K to 440K. Despite minor fluctuations, active users remained stable, ranging from 20.9M to 21.3M during the quarter.
Amazon Shopping saw a significant spike in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 495K in mid-July. Active users increased as well, from 3.5M at the start of the quarter to around 4.6M during the same period. By the end of September, downloads stabilized at around 332K, while active users slightly decreased to approximately 3.5M.
Lastly, Magalu: compras com descontos showed a steady pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at about 364K in mid-September. Active users for Magalu varied significantly, starting at 5.4M and dropping to around 4.3M by the end of the quarter.
