Throughout the fourth quarter of 2022, several boat-themed games on Android experienced noteworthy trends in the Middle East. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top 5 apps in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Battle Warship: Naval Empire, developed by Special Gamez, saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, starting at $6K in late September and peaking at $9.6K in early November. By the end of December, revenue had dipped to $4.2K. Downloads were minimal but increased notably towards the end of the quarter, rising from 4 to 55. Active users, however, saw a decline, starting at 67 and ending the quarter at 10.
Port City: Ship Tycoon from Pixel Federation Games had a steady increase in weekly downloads, culminating at 1.2K in the last week of December. Revenue also showed variability, peaking at $281 in late October before stabilizing around $189 at the end of the year. Active users surged from 765 in late September to 1.4K by the end of December.
Sea Port: Cargo Boat Tycoon, also by Pixel Federation Games, experienced modest revenue growth, with peaks of $124 in late November and $102 at the end of December. Downloads were relatively stable, with a slight increase in the last week of December to 200. Active users remained consistent, starting at 502 and finishing the quarter at 373.
Space Decor: Luxury Yacht, published by ZYMOBILE LIMITED, had fluctuating downloads, peaking at 122 in late October but ending the quarter with only 14. Revenue was similarly variable, reaching a high of $110 in early November but dropping to $7 by the end of December. Active users decreased steadily from 384 in late September to 183 in the final week of December.
Battle of Warships: Online, by MobileGDC, maintained a high number of downloads, starting at 1.4K in late September and stabilizing around 642 by the end of December. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, peaking at $119 in late September and tapering off to $10 by the end of December. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 5.9K and ending the quarter at 4.6K.
