During Q4 2022, the top fitness and weight loss apps on Android in Costa Rica demonstrated diverse performance trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Below, we delve into the specifics of each app's metrics.
FitPro saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting from around 1.4K in late September and peaking at 12.7K in mid-December. The app's weekly active users also increased remarkably, from 12.8K at the beginning of the quarter to over 41K by the end of December.
Home Fitness Coach: FitCoach experienced fluctuations in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads started strong at 2.9K in late September, peaked at 5.1K in early October, and then settled around 1.5K by the end of December. Weekly revenue varied throughout the quarter, reaching as high as $779 in early October and closing the quarter at around $406. Active users mirrored these trends, starting at 6.1K, peaking at 9.8K, and ending at 3.7K.
Sweatcoin・Walking Step Counter had a notable increase in downloads, with a peak of 1.9K in mid-October. However, the app's active users showed a downward trend, starting from 11.2K in late September and dipping to approximately 7.6K by the end of December. Revenue remained minimal throughout the quarter, peaking at $29 in late November.
Home Workout - No Equipment maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 1K downloads per week. Active users showed a slight decline from 9.1K in late September to about 8K by the end of December. Revenue was negligible throughout the quarter.
Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) recorded a consistent increase in downloads, starting at 572 in late September and peaking at 2.6K in mid-December. Active users followed a similar upward trend, growing from 5.2K to over 8.1K by the end of the quarter.
