Top 5 Food and Drink Apps on Android in Argentina Q4 2022

The fourth quarter of 2022 presented a dynamic landscape for Food and Drink apps on the Android platform in Argentina. Here, we delve into the performance of the top five applications: PedidosYa - Delivery Online, Grido, McDonald's Offers and Delivery, Mostaza, and Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery.

PedidosYa - Delivery Online maintained strong weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 57.6K in early December. The app also saw active user numbers fluctuate, starting at 1.7M in late September and peaking at 1.8M in mid-December before a drop to 1.5M by the end of the year.

Grido exhibited consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 25.5K to 40.5K. Active users for Grido started at around 73.4K in late September, reaching a high of 83.9K in early December before ending the quarter at about 68.2K.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery experienced stable weekly downloads, with numbers hovering between 21.6K and 32K. Active users showed significant spikes, particularly in mid-November, where they surged to 523.5K from an average of about 300K-350K in the preceding weeks.

Mostaza saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 38.8K in mid-December. Active user numbers also rose significantly, from around 36.8K in late September to a high of 66K in mid-December, before settling at 40.5K by the end of the quarter.

Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery maintained a steady download rate, with weekly figures ranging from 11.9K to 17.5K. Active user numbers for Rappi showed growth, starting at 223.4K in late September and peaking at 273.8K in late November, before ending the quarter at 222K.
