In the fourth quarter of 2022, the performance of the top 5 investing and financial management apps on the Android platform in Austria showcased varying trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how each app fared:
Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a peak in weekly downloads at 837 in early November, followed by a decline towards the end of December, reaching a low of 359. Active users for the app fluctuated, with a high of approximately 16K in early November, before settling at around 12.2K at the end of December.
Plus500 Trading experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at 688 downloads at the beginning of October and dropping significantly to just 75 by the final week of December. Active users also showed a downward trend, beginning at around 6K at the end of September and decreasing to approximately 4.5K by the end of December.
Scalable Capital: ETF & Stocks exhibited an initial surge in downloads in October, peaking at 1.03K, but saw a substantial drop to 150 by mid-December before rebounding to 751 in the last week of December. The app's active users increased from around 3.9K at the end of September to nearly 6K by the end of December, demonstrating a positive growth trend.
flatex next AT: Aktien und ETF maintained relatively stable weekly download numbers throughout the quarter. Starting with 555 downloads at the end of September, the app saw minor fluctuations, ending the quarter with 548 downloads in the last week of December.
Libertex: Stocks & CFD Trading showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 275 at the end of September and peaking at 763 in mid-December. Active users for Libertex also demonstrated a positive trend, starting at around 7.1K in late September, peaking at 7.7K in early December, and ending the quarter at approximately 6K.
