Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Russia Q4 2022

The fourth quarter of 2022 saw notable trends in the performance of the top 5 navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Russia. These insights are based on data from Sensor Tower.

Yandex Maps and Navigator experienced consistent weekly downloads, starting at around 129K in late September and peaking at approximately 144K by the end of December. Weekly active users fluctuated but remained strong, starting at 8.56M and finishing the quarter at 8.58M.

Yandex Navigator had stable weekly downloads, beginning at around 105K and ending the quarter at approximately 105K. The app saw a slight decrease in weekly active users from 2.78M to 2.59M over the same period.

2GIS: Offline map & navigation maintained a steady download rate, starting at roughly 94K and ending at about 76K. Weekly active users showed a minor decline, beginning at 4.14M and closing the quarter at 3.97M.

GPS АнтиРадар (радар-детектор) saw a decrease in weekly downloads from around 21K to about 16K by the end of December. Weekly active users started at 65.5K and ended the quarter at approximately 54.9K.
