During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top beauty retail apps on iOS in Sweden exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s an overview of their weekly metrics based on data from Sensor Tower.
Gamla versionen Sephora experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads. Starting with 1.2K downloads in late September, the app saw a peak of 6K downloads in the week of November 21. By the end of December, the downloads stabilized around 2.2K.
LOOKFANTASTIC: Beauty & Makeup saw a more modest download trend. The app's weekly downloads ranged from 116 in late September to a peak of 394 in the week of November 21. The active user count increased from 593 in late September to a peak of 953 in late November, before slightly declining to 751 by the end of December.
BEAUTY BAY had relatively low download numbers throughout the quarter. Starting with just 2 downloads in late September, the app reached a peak of 112 downloads in late October before dropping to 28 downloads by the end of December. The active user count showed minor fluctuations, peaking at 508 in late October and ending the quarter at 383.
Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics had minimal download activity. The app saw its highest weekly downloads at 51 in late October, with numbers varying between 1 and 27 in other weeks. Active user data was sparse, peaking at 42 in late October before dropping to negligible numbers in December.
IPSY: Personalized Beauty had very low download figures throughout the quarter. The app recorded only a few downloads, with a maximum of 3 downloads in the week of November 28. Active user data was not available for this app.
