In Q4 2022, the top sports apps on iOS in Europe showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Let's take a closer look at the performance of these leading applications.
During Q4, weekly revenue for FotMob - Soccer Live Scores from FotMob AS experienced significant fluctuations. Revenue peaked at approximately $1.8K in the week of October 24, and saw another high of $2K in the week of November 21. Weekly downloads followed a similar pattern, with a remarkable surge to 626K in the week of November 21. Active users increased substantially, reaching 879K in the same week, reflecting heightened engagement.
The FIFA Official App from FIFA saw a dramatic rise in weekly downloads and active users during the quarter. Downloads peaked at 382K in the week of November 14, while active users also surged to 361K in the week of November 21. This considerable increase in user engagement is evident from the data, despite no revenue being recorded.
Flashscore - Live scores from Livesport s.r.o. maintained a steady weekly revenue, peaking at around $1K in the week of November 21. Weekly downloads saw a notable spike to 140K in the same week. Active users consistently increased, reaching a high of 8.8M in the week of November 28, indicating strong user retention and engagement.
adidas: Shop Shoes & Clothing exhibited steady weekly downloads, with a peak of 71K in the week of November 21. Active users also saw a gradual increase, reaching 547K in the same week, demonstrating consistent user interest and engagement.
Fantamondiale® from Quadronica S.R.L. experienced a significant initial surge in weekly downloads, peaking at 436K in the week of November 14. However, downloads dropped sharply to 1 in the week of December 26. Active users similarly peaked at 501K in mid-November but declined to 125K by the end of December.
